Betara, born in a working family attached to the Catalan land. The Berengueras family, dedicated to the life of a farmer and therefore connoisseur of the entire rural world, decides in the 90s to market Catalan products. At this point it is where the full dedication of cheeses begins, a product that we elaborate in a traditional way and in the most craft style. We manufacture goat and goat sheep cheese, matured with the air of the Pyrenees that gives them a taste and a good quality characteristic of our area. Our cheeses are of a very careful quality, as is the choice of milk produced by our product, which is why we manufacture pasteurized cheese, and also raw milk to remember the most traditional taste of our land.
For three years we have been awarded the distinction of ecological organic producers, that is to say we produce a mature cheese from livestock labeled as ecological and we have recently made fresh cheese, ketchup and yogurt. We have reached 20 years of life with the same enthusiasm as the first day, with very encouraging future perspectives and with a look at the international market, since our products have been awarded worldwide.
